Cool🔥👌👌💙
Amazing 😍😎👌
But you didn't look left, right, left before each manoeuvre! That's a fail!
Interesting seeing the similarities and differences between this type of test in various countries - just did mine in the UK this week. Weirdest thing is that they ask you to treat it like it's a public road the whole time, so any time you move off etc. they expect the full set observations. Bit daft if you ask me as the test is clearly done in a controlled area, and at this stage they're assessing your control and manoeuvres!
Polish exam is Much more difficult ( to rip off money from us ) ltworlds.info/home/vaizdo-ra-as/rqJjytuqpap7nLw.html 0:15 check 1 fluid , 1 electric , check chain tension without being asked 2:02 move moto inside '' T '' lines section in ''3 motions'' 3:15 figure eight inside box 5 times *( look over shoulders everytime before taking off )* 4:48 slow slalom 2 times 4:46 fast slalom , average speed has to be 30 km/h or above ( laser measured entry / exit ) 6:27 obscale evasion , entry speed has to be 50 km/h or more ( laser measured for 1 meter after entry ) 7:01 emergency braking , on command brake with front and rear , abs has to work like a motherfucker. 7:45 incline start , motorcycle can't move back more than 20cm.
Been watching for years and watched this video when it first came out. Finally turned 16 and am heading to do my test in a couple days. Thanks for the tips
that is really cool. i wish i could read the gauge more clearly to see what speed you're taking the slalom at. but i think this sort of video can be very helpfull to see hand movement, head movement and handling
In Florida USA we have to spend 4 days practicing all the moves we have to do on the final and on the last fifth day we have to spend all day on the testing . About 12 or 15 maneuvers total . During practice - each time an instructor would demonstrate the moves a couple of times so we could figure out what needed to be done . It wasn't simple enough to just tell us - we had to see it done first . We practiced enough so that only one person, out of ten, failed because they dropped the bike . One crucial move is traveling in a straight line at about 25 MPH and wait for the instructor to wave us either left or right and we would have to do emergency swerve in that direction . I am over 60 years old and have been riding since I was 10 - so nothing in the test was new to me . However, I did find it very comprehensive and sufficiently difficult to help prepare new riders with the physical aspects . The mental training is a different story though . I was not impressed with the lack of instructions for reading the road and reacting to changing situations while riding . I think that is at least 45 percent of being safe .
I thought there was something wrong with my internet speed
Cypress mountain?
OMG this is so much easier than in Russia. We have time limit for each element.
that cannot be the whole test
Watching this on my phone's browser was a most surreal experience.
in Tx its a mark off for covering front brake -
My test is tmro on my r6 at the dreaded icbc 🥶, thanks so much for this oml this is the most helpful video I’ve seen on the tube in a minute.
The star of the show is definitely that bizarre house on the hillside.
You're riding my fav bike, but it's too tall for me... Whaaaah.
This is sooo cool!
the slalom part looks very tight. in UK they are much farther apart.
In Sweden they are much further apart aswell. But you have to do them at 50kph
man my skills test was in half the space you had lucky sob
Good sir! What kind of watch were you wearing this day?
What kind of bike are you on?
You didn't need to kick that poor cone! Just rude!
I love the 360 cam!
What a nice fellow (and an easy test). In my country, the examinator is your enemy
Oh my god I'm getting old, just had to google what WASD key meant on computer, now I know it is the actual W A S D keys, its was that technical.
easy test, ltworlds.info/home/vaizdo-ra-as/rqJjytuqpap7nLw.html + city ride
Nice watch.
How much harder would it be to do this on a R1????
This is completely unrelated to the content of the video specifically, but I wish there was some acceleration to the mouse viewing, so that you could look a full turn, or even two, just mousing within the window. I was click-and-drag-ing like crazy to keep up with what you were doing and where the instructor was pointing. A choice of 1:1, 2:1 and 4:1 would do a world of difference to this style or video, IMHO.
Amazing! 👏🏻
awesome 😁
God so easy. In the netherlands we have 11 horrible tests of which you randomly need to do 7. Which you must pass 5. Some are really anoying to master
So even on the other side of the globe you gotta pass this stuff. Thought the Netherlands was just being a pain in the bum again
Damn, as a German who has to do 30-40 driving hours with an instructor (on public roads) plus 20 something theory hours, plus a written test plus a final 1 hour drive with a gouverment person checking my skills, all in all costing about 1500€, I am qute envious of you Canadians and such an easy test
Awesome, love the 360 view.
Italy here, the test it's basically this plus a drive on the road with the examinator sitting in a car behind you, with a radio. We have 4 licenses for bikes, one you get at 14 for bikes up to 50cc, one for 125cc you get at 16, one for bikes with all engines but up to 35Kw you get at 18 and one for every bike you can get at 24 or 2 years after the third one. pretty messed up but it's comfy you can drive at 14 basically
Oh weird that B.C does the test in a parking lot. In Alberta its on the streets w/ things you need to do as per the tester, like stop on a hill then go again, high speed merge, etc.
Any chance you could do a nice and meaningful vid for the Honda NC X series :D ?
I was watching the ground for half of the video before I realised the camera could move...
Is this the M2 or the M-Exit, or does neither apply for Vancouver? (I'm in Ontario)
I like that you have to do each segment twice, rule out some luck.
this was so cool
Holy *****, since when is this possible? Just clicked on it on my tablet and took me a little time to realise I can move the view. Not from canada and I got already my licence, but I can imagine for beginners the video is a huge help.
It's been possible for years, though it's only recently that 360 degree cameras have started to become affordable. Much like the VR headsets that inspire the 360 video to begin with, really.
Can someone tell me what bike this is? Thanks.
Awesome! I've always wondered what would be on a Skills test, and in my province, so this is perfect! Also that "alright~" at 4:30 was distinctly Cartman-esque, 10 points
I know this BC test all too well. :O
What foul magic is this?!
Ryan, that watch is beautiful! What is it?
The Canadian bike test is so easy compared to the english one, this is not even enough to get your learners permit in the UK.
Never been so up and close with Ryan 😆
Louisiana: I see your bike didn't fall off the truck in the way here. And you unloaded it without dying. Do 3 figure 8's on this dead end road without falling. You passed. Don't die like my first husband did. In a fiery motorcycle crash the second day he had his license.
Bored - this was waste of my time. Sorry
Ross Bourne I see your side and appreciate that you are trying to stand up for the case here. But I make a bit contents at my firm here in Denmark and we have a rule that’s it’s very important that everyone gives feedback on the work, so we have a chance to know what each other thinks. That gives us a possibility to improve our work so we rice our quality further and higher with due diligence to our work. Here, the door is all ways open for each other from the trainee to the directors and we have a total flat management hierarchies and that gives us immens advantages, for example great fast movement of new directions of the firm and abilities to always give and receive important groundbreaking input to and from everyone. It’s a mindset that puts us in front of the game regardless that we are in one of the smallest countries in Europe. It gives work-happiness to everyone when there is room, time and plenty resources for everyone.
Ross Bourne sorry - but it was a feedback to fort9. Fort9 and he’s team normally makes fantastic videos with nice content but this was awful boring and no informative and it’s okay to have a opinion about that Ross. 😊👍
Love the emersion camera. I can look at the instructor. Your hands on the controls. Anything.
Passed my test a few days ago on the first try. Less than a perfect score - but I've only been riding for 3 weeks. Relieved it's over.
I wouldn’t want to learn to ride a motorcycle there. It looks like it’s on top of a mountain, I can imagine a newbie going over the top.
Natural selection. ~RF9
Am i the only one doing 360 twirls in the middle of the room? 😂. Awesome video m8 👍
Please more riding in the rain videos. Great stuff,
Is that it? Driving tests sure are ALOT harder in Sweden
The camera is cool, which one is it?
There's pretty good info on the channel but damn .... you're such a millennial! You make me want to punch you in the face. BTW pretending to not be pretentious while being pretentious makes things worse.
Which school was this with? Cool that they’re doing it up at Cypress.
Dude way to go! this is some really useful stuff, props for doing this for EVERYONE!!
Vaseline Screen!!
Terribly easy test, amazingly cool video.
SLOW DOWN
Hey guys - thanks for this! Really interesting footage and love the interactive 360 camera. Out of interest, what camera do you use for this? Thanks again - big fan of your content!
Easier than the UK version.
Hahahaha Brilliant love ya work mate 😂
fantastic 360
In Australia you're required to do an eye and theory test before they give you your permit to learn, you need to log 50 hours (if you don't have a driver's license(In WA)) of shadowed ride time then you sit your practical which is a 30 minute road ride which includes figure O's x4 at walking pace on a narrow street and an emergency stop without locking up from 50 km/h. If you pass you are pernitted to ride a motorcycle up to 660cc or a certain power to weight. After waiting 12 months you can repeat your practical assessment on a larger bike to obtain your open license. It's interesting to see how different countries approach licensing.
50 hours of shadowed ride time with an "approved supervisor" is an absolutely unreasonable cost (higher than flying!) that must surely be intended to stop people from riding. It's completely different to having a car passenger because cars are ubiquitous and Motorcycles are rare - many of us are surrounded by drivers but don't even know another rider. I would have had to pay for every hour. Also i'm bemused that they allow a pillion to be your supervisor, considering other states don't even let you have a Pillion until after your Ps because that increases the risk and difficulty :p
Yeah, exactly as in Ukraine you just buy it. There are companies that offer licence for foreginers without even coming to Ukraine.
This is kool more videos like this please
Hi RyanF9. I've got a review request for a Royal Enfield Himalayan. Built in India, designed for Indian roads and is apparently a cheap, capable, all rounder. Is this a possibility in Canada? I'm thinking of getting one here in the UK and I trust \ like your reviews
man, this is easy, you should check out motorcycle test from Japan and singapore. Pain in the ass to pass
So you pulled the clutch all the way in for slow speed swerving? Or at engage point?
This test is a joke ? No town test ? No duo test ? Quick and low speed test....Very easy to have your license here.....
It takes you 6 months or so to get your licence in Germany. A lot of theory, a lot of driving lessons, a written test and a test on the road (90 minutes). If you make one mistake, you fail the test and have to try again another time.
that was easy i had to make an 8 in Belgium
how far apart are the cones for the slalom?
Do more videos of reviewing bikes
Screw the test look at that backdrop.
That is one cool camera trick
NEAT
Just passed my license yesterday :D
Hello Ryan, Big fan of the vids not a huge fan of this video even though i understand where you were going with it. I really enjoyed when you directed the 360 cam in the h2sx vid you are a good director and i don't think you should give up that skill even though this gives newer riders more things to look at. The direction you gave helped me a lot my 1st peek days of wanting to learn to ride. From the gear and motorcycle reviews to the places I should hope to see one day it was all super good. Even now the new direction you are going with more of a true story telling experiance with the music choice and video focus its all good keep it up. Thanks, iKenTroN
Annoyingly cool technology!
I think a lot, if not most watching this vid think that this is your full license test in BC. It is not, and in fact just the second test ( (the first is a written) in the learners which allows you to ride on the road to practice and with certain restrictions. Quebec has been mentioned in comments I see, I had a friend who grew up in Quebec in the 70's and when he tested for his car license they asked him if he also rode a motorcycle...he said yes ...ok...if you pay $1.00 more you will get a motorcycle endorsement as well. Times have changed. I would be surprised however to find that BC has the easiest motorcycle licensing in Canada.
What is this sorcery?
Awesome.
I was standing and fell over when you did the quick stop
you got a big watch ! :) interesting to see all around and to see the rider's body moves, thanks 4 the video
First 360 video I have seen. I think my brain just popped.
I think it is cheaper to fly to Canada from Europe get the test there and fly back.
When I clicked on it I thought this video would be silly and I'd get nothing from it but instead I found it very useful to be able to choose what I want to look at while it happens! For example I was able to closely watch "Bryan" using the clutch and brake lever.
Was interesting to see. Only thing that would stress me is messing up the instructions. In Switzerland conditions are different wither you want to drive a 125cc or higher and if you already have a drivers license.
License test - Ryaned!!!!
This looks a lot like what we have in Norway for MC licence. This is part 2 of 3 of the licence. Before the practical test, a theoretical exam. Then; Part 1: Know how to find any errors or malfunctions on a motorcycle. Part 2: Pretty much this. plus an emergency avoidance maneuver. (at 50 km/h) Part 3: A 45 min ride in traffic with an instructor to evaluate your driving skills on the road.
neat.
Congratulations Bryan.
