  • Hope you didn’t waste your time showing this in America? Yes, I know your talking bacteria and Covid is a virus!!! But the transmission is very similar and the difference between bacteria and virus doesn’t even go close to highlighting the problem with that nations ability to make decisions based of fact. They are still at the mindset of shooting the shit out of the virus and blowing up a sovereign nation, while denying the 250k that died domestically. And the complete lack of return on investment from the trillions that they have thrown at the virus after the horse had bolted. All while having debt to gdp of 100%. Bell ends. Intellectual equivalent of paint.

  • Thanks for the great video with useful tips. Regarding the jacket with the bags, the military has cold weather boots that fit that idea. After so many vets suffered from frostbite in Korea, the VB (Vapor Barrier) boot was adapted for extremely cold climates. Euphemistically called Mickey Mouse boots, they kept my toes warm while in the Arctic Circle.

  • I'm building a motorcycle garage for my new BMW G310GS, and after watching this video, I'm going to build it with a couple of beefy rafter beams (maybe steel unistrut) that I can use with four heavy duty ratchet straps to lift and suspend the bike from the handlebars and rear rack to make the baby GS easy to service.

  • The freezing hack (I've heard, so you probably should ask your mom) can work if you cycle the article through freezing and thawing several times. The idea, as I recall,, is that while the bacteria can survive frreeze and thaw, it weakens them a bit and by immediately applying several freeze-thaw cycles, it will be enough to kill them. Not sure about this though. You should consult an expert.

  • I honestly wish I knew about the zip-loc thing in South Dakota. I bought a Hot Leathers jacket in Sturgis during the winter for half off. 5 sizes larger than normal, so I can wear either armor or insulation under it. But there's been a few times where I ventured out without either, and nearly froze to death. You could easily pack a box of half sandwich bags and stuff them everywhere for an emergency. But I now have an Eddie Bower down jacket that stuffs into its own hand pocket that I leave on the bike in the winter.

  • I found a "hack" that really works for keeping smell & bacteria down. I've used the for about a year and it's great. I spray Febreze air (yes "air" freshener) on my do-rag. I'm not concerned about my hairdo, but I hate taking the liner out of my helmet for cleaning. I wear one every time I put my helmet on. The Febreze (I like "Gain" scent for whatever that's worth) keeps my do-rag smelling like springtime for a month or so of riding a few times per week. After every wash dry, I spray both sides of the do-rag lightly with the Febreze and let it dry a few minutes. Voila - no more bad smell. This summer I started doing the same to the inside of my motorcycle jacket (textile Coretech Air) - all inside panels, then down and up both sleeves. I have found no downside, even spraying the soft neck and cuffs seems to have no downside. This stuff is AMAZING! Try it.

  • Now I'm an Antipodean so we don't have skunks, but my dad used to live in Canada before he realised he could emigrate (again. He was actually Scottish) to somewhere warmer! He once made the mistake of annoying a skunk and his mother put his then offensive clothing in a wooden box and buried it in the earth for the winter, then dug it up again in the spring. It was in the great depression years and clothes were expensive so they couldn't just throw them away. Apparently after a few months underground they once again smelled sweet! Perhaps you could bury your smelly helmet and gloves for the winter and see how they come up next year?

  • I made very small lifter. For bikes which have center stand. It include flat frame and six pivoted, 4 cm high pads. three both side of bike. It hard descripe without picrure. Basically is work by tilt bike side to side and turn pad under stand leg when bike is tilt to other side. It require firm hands and stand lock for prevent its turn up. It`s not high but when other wheel is on the ground, other is high. Big advance is possibility take it on the bike and go lift bike where is better to do.
