Crossing Canada's Only Desert on a Yamaha TW200 - 2018 Review
Yes, Canada has a desert. Sort of. It's actually pretty sweet and unbeknownst to the rest of the world. Just like our desserts, then. We partner up with a new ol' friend named TW200 (or 'T-Dubs') for an adventure across the desert to see if she’s still got that zest and spirit of adventure that she had back in the day.

We rode TW200's at the state funded motorcycle safety course. I had no idea the legend I was riding at the time.
Great little bike, but i did laugh at what you call a desert... down here, thats just normal farmland.
"400 pounds farmer`s wife load capacity" .. COMON man stop it haha
Amazing video. Thanks for this.
I need to buy one of these T-Dubs and stop watching this video, every other day.
ok what fell off the bike at 2:06
Right! Looks like a camera.
YAMAHA TW225 ❤️ who love this bike ?
I’m crying...I sold my TW last year. 😢😖😢😖😢 Your videos are some of the best I’ve watched. Truly. Please don’t make a video of a Triumph Tiger. I cudnt take it.
Just found this channel and don’t even own a bike- yet I’ve found myself binging. Quality production and narration. Poetry on both fronts.
Great. Just what i need another bike
The TW was my first bike loaned to me from a friend that didn't want to ride it. That bike is amazing. Truly. Everything you said and did with it is totally true. Its a tank and great first bike. Cheap to operate fun as hell to ride.
Incredible work and production
I was never into watches until I started watching Watch Finder and Co videos now I'm obsessed with watches. I was never into motorcycles and now I can't stop thinking about them since watching Fortnine videos.
Fortnite?
02:15 - what's that .... National Guard searching for you .... ?
Love your first line. Love stan rogers
The piano company😂 They build outboards as well, so as sailor that rides bikes and plays piano its the perfect company!
For the first time I decided to put my girl on the back of this thing for more than a few neighborhood miles. We went out on my normal ride..This thing is only 200cc and even solo riding the acceleration leaves some to be desired......the weird thing with my girl on the back this bike did not know the difference. I think it might have actually been faster.
Great video ..but in case you didn't get the memo ..that is NOT Canada's only desert
Sometimes I really envy North Americans, you get all these cool bikes I cannot get here in Europe
You have amazing videos and the TW200 with its anvil's sophistication is by fat our favourite motorbike.
Please stop convincing me to buy motorcycles i cant buy/drive in the eu/germany
Cool video review, narration on point and very informative. 👍
I bought one of these because of him. Just got done blasting through some 2 foot snow drifts in 10 degree weather
YAMAHA: TW 200 sales just went through the roof. Do we have enough 😂
I hate that voice and stupid face. The bike looks good tho.
v strom 250 review please!!!
I really want one of these as a first bike
Would love a TW200 to get me to the train station and back.
Tomorrow I need to to get to some 40 km point with my TW225, but a'm afraid because ice on the road. After this video, I decided to get there just across the fields)
Ok, I bought one
I watch this video once every 2 weeks and it gives me motivation to get up, ride and keep hunting for zen in the outdoors.
How about FTR 223 ? I just thought they looks same .
i wish there's a 400cc tw200. with sliiiightly taller suspension. and massive cargo capacity.
When I was a kid, we had a Copenhagen ring in our back pocket of our Levis. The new generation has the outline of an Iphone in the front pocket (12:04). Different jeans, different times. Great video!
They stoped using drum breaks around 2001
I'm 58 years old and I have a hankering to buy one of these!
Best tw200 video on LTworlds. Hell maybe best dual sport video on LTworlds. Looking at getting a couple for my son and I. He’s never ridden, I haven’t in many years. Wondering how tall you are and inseam measurement. My one concern about the bike is seat height / ergonomics. I’m 6 ft and my son will be soon.
Im only two years late to comment and view this, but your production, comic, fact and review is worth a million... pictures. Top Gear can suck it if they ever try to beat this in making a TW video. (tractor wheel?) - also, you guys are metric... yay!!!!
Хороший мот, у меня такой же ltworlds.info/home/vaizdo-ra-as/0npzwrmHiMdjeqw.html можете глянуть обзор.
😊
You sir, may be a genius 😎
i can’t belive a bike review made me emotional
im your neighbor in michigan. So what time of year was that trip? August?
I I have to go to Mars, my preference would be an AK 47 and any Yamaha bike
There's the SIDI Armada boots on your feet. How about a review of them?
soar like an EAGLE land like a HIPPO
He's Obviously never been to the Carcross Desert
I thought Canada's only desert was in the Yukon next to Lake Bennet..
My TW200 makes me giggle with delight every time I ride it.
Great vid as always, is there a modern bike that could replace this tw200?
Aneesh bhava tu ek number ahes
This will be my first bike
Foot pegs precised for infants🤣🤣🤣
P
Great video! Great bike!
The best tdub video ever produced.
Are these the hills across the river from Kamloops?
Watching a western documentary.
I have a Taotao Powermax VIP 150cc with a Maxis 6024 knobby rear tire , you ride for an hour then take a break and ile catch up to ya . i don't have a chainsaw and a bulldozer so my trails are easy
1999-2000 was the last year the TW200 had a kick start, buy the old ones
You dropped your camera!

In the words of Gordon Lightfoot, If you could read my mind love, what a tale my thoughts could tell.? How do you read my mind? It's not some drama filled love affair filling my thoughts, but rather motor bikes; that is, any review that involves a motor bike not named Harley Davidson but includes a reviewer who goes by the handle, FortNine.
In the beginning, are you talking about Stan Rogers? I love him!
Dudes videos are love letters to these bikes
I love my TW-200
Is it legal to cut trail in Canadian desert? Odd..
I am giggling gleefully and with full abandon with you, but.. ?how to encourage erosion? Cut virgin 🌵 land , and tell yah-hoo ,like me to do same. PS:❤️F9 production value AND tw200”farmbike”
A very nice homage to Stan Rogers, as well.
Beautiful
Dude, i absolutely love your videos. Your production and story telling are top notch. No one does this better than you! Keep it up!
My son told me to watch this video. He rides a KTM900. At age 72 I own two tw200's. I have a 1987 serial number in the very low five hundreds.Bike looks better than my 2011 TW, but curently is needing rings. Guess this might get me to do the job. Thanks for the video.
i just wanted to take a moment to put a hidden mention of appreciation for all the quality and attention you put into these... the audio video is just heaven
Hey guys what song is playing at 5:26?
2:06 What's that? Camera? Something has fallen to the ground
“ I’ve had farts with more compression” pissed my pants on that on.
Ryan you are so smart and clever, it’s scares me.
i love this video
What an awesome vid. The writing and directing are lessons for producers. I can feel the teamwork involved. The whole FortNine team can take a bow. Thank you guys
This is what riding in Wyoming feels like
Beautiful video. I love it. And the bike is my second favourite. The first versions had more funny and modern color schemes, with green and magenta, I don't know why this newer versions have that graphics and colors so vintage, so 70's, so bored. Great job, @FortNine. 👍😄❤
Curious if this would function as a beginner ADV bike for a 71 year old guy with no dirt experience. Have ridden street only all those years.....mostly Honda VFRs. Does riding Mountain Bicycle count? lol
As a guy that grew up on a farm and still lives in Texas, I have always wanted one of these guys. Great video....
More like crossing Red Dead Redemption II map
How I do want a TW200... so bad
I encourage you to make a documentary of riding most any BDR. Pick a bike, pick a route. Keep it informative as only you can do! I enjoy your work. Carry on sir! Thank you.
In 1977, got my first Yamaha 80 enduro at 13 years old and put hundreds of miles on the prairies and foothills of Alberta. This video allowed me to feel the cold air, freezing water and the warmth of the campfire at the last mile of the day. I now live in Southern AZ on the border of Mexico with my KLR 650. Thank you for taking me back to those days where all I cared about was "getting there" and wondering if I was actually going to survive.
Nice country. Desert!?
Stan Rogers died in 1983. Now that's sense of detail...
Rewatching this in October 2020 puts a bright spot on the dumpster fire of this year.
Masterpiece. Bravo.
We have a desert ?
"I've had farts with more compression " 😂you had me rolling on the floor 😂
I wanted a TW200 ever since my riding instructor in the BRC used one to demo on and he let me ride it upon request. Such a fun thing and to see this has sealed the deal. I want one even more now, Ryan!
This is best LTworlds motorcycle video. Like all your videos it has style and loved the bike so much I went out and got a TW225, the best version of the TW, all the great qualities and rough charm of the TW200 plus smoother and more power. Did I forget it comes with electric and kick start, see here alongside a Van Van ltworlds.info/home/vaizdo-ra-as/pp14scWZcrGHldI.html
I wanna fly right over there, rent a bike, buy some camping gear and head drive across this beautiful country. But unfortunately there is a pandemic going on, I can't afford even a one-way-ticket to Canada and I probably lack the proper motorcycle driving license. Also I haven't renewed my passport in a while.
