  • Just ordered the Nelson Rigg Hurricane 20L. Should be a good compromise in size/weight. I only plan on single overnight trips max, so hopefully this should suffice with very minimalist packing and maybe another 10 or 20L roll top on the tail.

  • So, how come nobody puts something like armor in the backs of these bags? While it wouldn’t be directly against your body, wouldn’t it still help if an impact pressed the bag and everything in it into your back?

  • I'm definitely a fan of the 35 to 55 liter roll top waterproof backpack that I can use off the bike, that I carry strapped to the luggage rack as a tail bag, with a pair of 20 liter roll top bags that I can use as panniers, then strap to the backpack to carry. For commuting where I need collapsible storage and don't need to hike, a waterproof roll top duffle bag is more convenient to load and unload. It'd also be good for motocamping next to the bike.

  • The note you made about the kriega branding, It blows my mind I have never heard any reviewers mention this type of thing before. Branding placement on accessories is huge and often times I'll skip purchasing something because their branding is whack or they will use like a random color (hi-vis yellow*rolls eyes*)for the font where it doesn't belong. If Kriega had just made that font gloss black, it would still pop out from the back and at the same time be more sleek.

  • I do not have a bike, currently. I was recently inspired , tho. Not from F9, but by a certain Dutch rider, she is amazing. Anyway, I cannot afford a bike currently. Im just here to dream. Someday I will be able to afford a bike, it is actually what is motivating me to work harder on bettering myself. Ultimately, my plan is to ride from my home here in New England, to somewhere on the west coast of the U.S. , purely for the purpose of experiencing some sort of personal freedom, which I seriously lack right now. Sigh. My life has prevented me from this goal, I will still cling on to hope as if my life depended upon it. tl;dr I am having to live vicariously through this channels incredible presentations of what "could be". Hope, it is a pain in my ass, but it is all I have atm. Thank you for sharing your passion, F9. I hope , someday, to make this dream come true, and share it with others. Possibly, with all humility, to share my dream with others , and, perhaps, inspire another generation.
