  • Just went and bought my first motojacket after spending two hours and more in the store. Men's, slightly bulky in the back (length/ass=concave), beautiful leather, sits snug otherwise, D30 back, shoulders, and elbows, vents in arm and back, pocketed and removable lining... and not branded like cattle. 300 dollars. Thank you, Ryan!

  • Motorcycling has lost all perspective. A jacket for 800 bucks? A 54000 Harely trike is even better value. They make these overseas for the likes of 34 bucks, plus the CEO and fifty middle managers Yacht fees. I recently snagged a steal of a deal on a bass fishing rod for only $469 and it has hyperfeel cork on it, making is an even better deal.

  • I still find Komine cheaper. But I just don't know how good it is. Got a Komine Jacket for USD150 CE2 plastic armour within the jacket and experienced a slide @ 40kph, but it did few minor scratches some spot, but only did a very small tear of 1/4 inch in the 1st layer of textile, some scratches with knee protectors and the carbon slider in my gloves, all Komine. Suffered no injuries, only my ego. 😅 Not sure how good is Komine. But I am really happy and confident it can handle much faster than 40kph with no problem. But I rarely travel faster 80kph anyway, mostly 40-60kph between cities.

  • I would love to see a review of "bulkier" options that bike mount and allow access to phone, wireless comms and maybe even something like cb. Why not just use the high tec wireless options? Bulletproof, more power hungry features possible, no battery worries, cleaner integration with devices and passenger comms.

    Billy CBilly CPrieš 5 mėnesių
  • Not a big deal, but all bullet armor is "resistant". It all will fail with a big enough caliber and/or enough hits in the same area. They are rated to protect against certain calibers, for a certain amount of impacts, based on their level of protection(IIIA, III, IIII) . Bullet "proof" vests don't exist.

  • You will not believe what I found when I had to quickly replace my 10-year-old (approx. 50000 miles) Fieldshear jacket that someone (me) carelessly draped over my seat and the zipper came in contact with the hot exhaust. Not having time to research jackets I went to trustee Amazon and found a motorcycle jacket with CE armor waterproof and stylish design. Additionally, it comes with a thermal liner and two chest vents and one back vent. Not bad for $50.00 US.
