  • i got a firstgear adv tour jacket and i can tell you its a very good jacket for the prize BUT when i bought it in winter of 2019, there were no jackets for men... only for woman... so i measured myself and checked everything and thought "bugger it ill get a womans jacket, they look the same and the plus size M seems to suit me (usually wearing L for men)". well the fitment is terrible... the arms are too short because my shoulders are too wide (otherwise they would fit), also my belly isnt nearly fat enough to fill the lower part of the jacket. thats why i have to wear a waist belt on the outside of the jacket to keep it shut from underneath. the upper part is too small and in the lower part i can fit twice.... DONT BUY WOMENS CLOTHINGS IF YOURE A GUY, EVEN IF THEY LOOK THE SAME.... THEY ARE DIFFERENT!! otherwise nice jacket

  • Hey, how loud is the helmet for road use between 0 - 60 mph? If you close the vents is it quite? I'm new to having a motorcycle licence and selling my dirtbike to get a supermoto to hit the road but still want something I can do some trails on. Some say the helmet is loud but some people say the helmet noise is normal. If it is really loud for road use what helmet with a £200 budget for this would you recommend ideally with an ece rating?

  • I'd disagree with the helmet, $300 buys you the shark explore-r, with its own (fantastic) goggles, in fact the goggles fit so well you can ride on the road at 110kph perfectly comfortably without a visor. The beak is also very well aerodynamically vented, with the visor on it seals so well and is massively quiet, and it comes with a built in buff which is the best I've ever experienced.

  • Nice video. Thanks. Be good to update for this year. Also, it reminded me a bit of Andertons music shop vids where they show you how to sound like “famous guitarist X” on a budget. They also do versions sometimes blowing the budget- which can be interesting too for people who want to spend once for something that lasts, and/or want to see (if the top end stuff) which is actually worth the investment. 😎👍🏻

From an almost stand still I lost all material on the knee of the jeans and got some nasty road rash. Parents are allowing me to borrow some riding pants till I get mine. New to the game and rebuilding a bike before learning to ride

So frustrating! Come on Fortnine stock what you recommend!! This time it was the Feildsheer adventure jacket.

    Chris ValinChris ValinPrieš metus
    • You're commenting this on a video that's a year old. A lot of shit changes in a year including what a company makes and how it prices it, how is it his fault if a company stops producing a product he recommended in the past, or changes the pricing to something that isn't financially viable for him to on sell from their store? If its not on his website looks elsewhere, not a difficult concept to grasp.

  • First thing first, I started watching FortNine videos earlier this year while on deployment. I got hooked on the Africa Twin Review and I am working my way through the whole collection. I get a lot of useful information out of the videos and Ryan does a damn good job of explaining things at an approachable level. Props to you guys for the Letterkenny themed episode (another gem I discovered over this last year across the pond). It looks like I am late to the party on the Fieldsheer Adventure Tour Jacket. I thought I managed to get one but it was a Women's Large and that's when I discovered it was discontinued and a unicorn. I actually called Fieldsheer and asked them what they recommended and they offered up the High Pro Textile Jacket. Ryan, have you messed with the High Pro Textile at all and would it be a good sub for the Adventure Tour or should I just get a Firstgear Kathmandu? Also, if you guys want to test a Ducati Multistrada Enduro let me know, it's a bit of a ride from where I live but it would give me a great excuse to head North and I'd be up for letting you put it through it's paces.
